ABOUT WAO
WAO was born from exploring and venturing deep into Venezuela—since 2009—and from coming home from every trip wanting to share it deeply… without the feeling of just passing through, without rushing and with meaning.
We started with an inn, a house and one certainty: staying in a natural corner of the world disconnects you from the noise so you can connect with what is essential.
We are moved by nature and understated luxury, by beauty joined with simplicity. We are connected by affection, complicity and the commitment to do things right at every step.
That is how we kept adding places that shared this outlook.
Today we are a WAO collection of houses and small hotels on the coasts, mountains, plains and jungles of Venezuela, with multi-day routes created to experience the country at a different pace.
