The route
The route leaves Caracas for Santo Domingo, in the Mérida Andes, for two days of trekking: one around the village, with a picnic-style lunch, and another to the Mifafí Dome.
From Santo Domingo it heads down to Hato Garza, in the plains of Apure, with two full days of activities at the hato.

Departure from Caracas, with a stop for lunch. Arrival in Santo Domingo in the late afternoon.
- Day 2
Trek around Santo Domingo with a picnic-style lunch.
- Day 3
Trek to the Mifafí Dome.
- Day 4
Departure from Santo Domingo for Hato Garza.
- Day 5
Activities at Hato Garza.

Early-morning departure, with a stop for lunch. Arrival in Santo Domingo in the late afternoon.
